FAQs

Q. How do I figure out how many photograher hours I'll need on my wedding day?

A. If you're doing a "First Look", we recommend starting two hours before the ceremony. Getting Ready photos should begin one hour prior to the First Look. (This is the start time.) Determine when your reception will end. This is time photography normally is completed.

Q. How do you capture all of the dancing and fun parts of the party/reception?

A. We are on the dance floor with you all night. The photos showing the excitement and fun are captured by being a part of it all. We do not sit by the side and wait for things to happen.

Q. We are not utilizing a Wedding Planner. Will you help us plan our day?

A. Absolutely! We know the best order of the day and the normal timing for each "event". We'll help you plan to make your day flow smoothly.

Q. Do you offer aerial photography?

A. Yes! We are licensed by the FAA to operate and fly a drone. Aerial shots add a different dimension to outdoor weddings.

Q. How many images can I expect from our wedding day?

A. We always shoot more than is necessary to help ensure every photo delivered is something we can all be proud of. On average, we deliver approximately 60 images per hour booked.

Q. What is the turn-around time for delivery of our photos and video?

A. We guarantee six weeks to deliver all. However, we strive for delivery in three weeks.

Q. How will I be able to review and sign the contract?

A. We use an online customer resource tool. Your contract, invoice and events will be in your password-protected Client Portal. You can review and sign the contract electronically.

Q. Are you licensed and insured?

A. Yes! We are licensed and carry insurance, including liability insurance when we're on site.

Q. Do you shoot in RAW format?

A. Yes! Shooting in RAW gives us the highest quality files with the best color definition.

Q. Do you shoot to two memory cards per camera?

A. Yes! All of our cameras have two cards each. We shoot to both cards simultaneously. In the unlikely event a card fails during the day, none of the photos will be lost.

Q. Do you carry back-up equipment with you on a photo shoot?

A. Absolutely. We alway have three or four camera bodies, extra memory cards and extra lights/strobes on site.

Q. How do you keep our images safe and protect them in your process?

A. All images are downloaded to two hard drives. Throughout post-production, the main hard drive is constantly being backed-up.

Q. How long do you keep the images after our wedding day?

A. Contractually, we keep all images for six months. However, we do keep all backed-up images safe for considerably longer.

Q. What will you wear on the wedding day?

A. We will normally wear black pants and shirt. If your guests will be in formal attire, we will wear tuxedos to blend in.

Q. Can we order prints, wall-art and albums from you?

A. Yes! We partner with a custom photo lab and will help you throughout the entire creative process.

Q. Do you use flash equipment during the ceremony?

A. Unless specifically requested, we do not use flash during the ceremony. We respect the solemnity and do not want to spoil your experience.

Q. How will you get close-up shots during the ceremony?

A. We use telephoto lenses to get the "tight" shots of the special parts of the ceremony.

Q. Do you travel for destination weddings?

A. We regularly travel for photo shoots. Whether it's a tropical beach or foreign city, our bags and passports are packed. You'll depart for your dream wedding knowing we'll be there to ensure you have the best photos.
